Once a venue is automated it keeps selling tickets while the app is closed, so you can collect a day’s takings on the bus rather than sitting there tapping. Tapping speeds a venue along when you want it to; nothing in the design depends on it.

More than twenty in all, and each venue has its own crowd, its own art and its own upgrade path.

The story runs in comic strips between milestones. Corrupt commissioners want a cut, crooked referees are visibly on someone else’s payroll, and the paparazzi are outside your office whichever city you move to.
