How often new content arrives
Two things arrive on a weekly rhythm in Idle Sports Stadium Tycoon, and they are not the same thing.
New levels are part of the main game. They extend what you are already building: more venues to open, more milestones to push a venue through, more of the story between them. Your existing progress carries straight into them.
Weekly events are separate and time-limited. An event runs on its own short economy with its own goals, milestone rewards and leaderboard, then ends. You do not need to finish an event to keep progressing in the main game, and you do not lose main-game progress by playing one.
Neither depends on you downloading a new build from the store every week. Open the game and the current content is there.
Events are not open from your first minute. In the current build the map carries a sign reading “reach Week 5 to unlock event”, so the first few weeks are spent building and automating in the main game.
Where to check the current event
Event names, start and end times and reward tables change every week, so this page does not carry a calendar that would be out of date by the time you read it. Open the game and check the event screen: it shows the event that is live, what its goals are, and how long is left on it.
If an event has already ended when you open the game, the next one is usually close behind. Events run weekly.
How events work
An event opens its own map, separate from your town, with a BACK TO MAIN GAME button to step out of it. Inside, it runs its own economy and its own set of venues, with a countdown showing how long is left and a progress bar toward the event’s reward.
The structure is a set of goals and a milestone track. Working through the goals moves you up the track, and each milestone you pass pays out. Separately, your score places you on a leaderboard against other players.
The two are worth keeping apart in your head. Milestone rewards are the reliable part: you collect them by reaching the milestone, and you do not need to finish near the top of the leaderboard to get them. They are achievable at a casual pace. Leaderboard placings are competitive and favour players who put a lot of active time in during the event window.
For most players the sensible target is the milestone track, not the top of the board.
Why events are worth playing
Sports Stars and Golden Tickets are the scarce currencies in Idle Sports Stadium Tycoon, and they are what carries when a week transition resets your cash and customers. Event milestone rewards are one source of them.
That makes events a way to add to those balances during a week rather than relying on goals and pickups alone.
If a reward does not arrive
Close the game fully and reopen it. A reward that has not been delivered is often granted on the next launch.
If it still is not there, contact support with your player ID, your device, the name of the event and roughly when the problem happened. Use the Help option inside the game, the help centre, or email sports.idle@kanoapps.com. A real person on the Kano Games support team reads and answers tickets.
