Football Stadium Game: Build Football Venues and a Sports Business
Your first build is a football venue. Idle Sports Stadium Tycoon puts Touchdown Center in front of you in the opening week, then grows it into a stadium as you invest, alongside 20+ other sports, new levels every week and weekly events.

Your first build is a football venue
Idle Sports Stadium Tycoon opens in Champsford, and the first goal it gives you is Build Touchdown Center. You do not work your way toward football through other sports; it is the venue you start with.
What you own is the building and the business around it, not a team. You spend cash to bring in more customers, the venue’s income rises with them, and you reinvest that money into the next venue and the next upgrade. There are no formations, no transfer windows and no match engine. If you pictured a football manager, our best sports management games list points at the games that are.
What your money actually buys
Tap a venue and you get a customer control: the number of customers it holds now, and a button showing how many more you can add and what they cost. In the screenshots above, Touchdown Center goes from 25 customers to 50 for 322 cash, and its displayed income goes from $900 to $3,600.
That is the whole investment decision, repeated. Customers raise income; income buys more customers and more venues. The next step costs more and gives less, so at some point the better use of your cash is a different venue.
One thing worth saying plainly, because screenshots of this genre often imply otherwise: buying customers is not construction. The stands do not appear one seat at a time as you spend. The venue art changes as you progress through the game, and the third screenshot shows Touchdown Center several weeks later as a covered stadium with grandstands, but that is progression, not the direct result of a single customer purchase.
How the football venue changes

A grandstand around the field
A roof over the stands

Automate it and it earns while you are away
Each venue can be automated, and the game is explicit about what that means: EARN MONEY EVEN WHEN YOU AREN’T PLAYING. Automating a venue is not free and not automatic. The AUTOMATE panel lists what you need: a named character at a given level, plus cash. For Touchdown Center in the third week that was Happy the Mascot at Level 1 and 2,000 cash. Other venues ask for more, so treat that as one example rather than the price everywhere.
Once a venue is automated it keeps earning with the app closed, and you collect what it made when you come back. You play online, with events and leaderboards against other players. The beginner guide walks through automating your first venue step by step.
Football and soccer are two different venues
Worth being clear for anyone searching in US English. Touchdown Center is American football. Soccer League is a separate venue with its own art, its own customer control and its own costs, and it sits on the other side of the street from the football stadium. Both exist; neither replaces the other.
This page is about the football side. If you came looking for a soccer management game, this is not one.
20+ sports after the first one
Football is where you start, not where it stops. Basketball courts, hockey arenas, baseball, golf, tennis, wrestling, cricket, boxing, bowling and a Grand Prix circuit open as you push further, and the list keeps growing past twenty.
New levels arrive every week, and weekly events run alongside the main game with their own goals and milestone rewards. The stadium builder game page covers the full loop across cities.
The venues, characters and story are Kano’s own. There are no licensed teams, leagues or player rosters in the game.

Idle Sports Stadium Tycoon
Our game
Kano Games · iOS and Android · Free, optional in-app purchases
Football from the opening build, inside a business that spans 20+ sports.
Our game. Touchdown Center is the first thing you build, and the same loop carries into every other sport: invest in customers, automate the venue, reinvest. New levels every week and weekly events on top. Weak spot: upgrade multipliers are not previewed before you buy.
Pixo Games · iOS and Android · Free, optional in-app purchases
A whole sports city on one map, football included.
Pixo Games’ tycoon grows many sports into a single city view rather than moving city to city. There is no story layer; the appeal is watching one city fill up.

Idle Basketball Arena Tycoon
Libii · iOS and Android · Free, optional in-app purchases
The single-sport comparison: basketball rather than football.
Libii’s idler pairs venue upgrades with player recruitment inside one sport. Useful as a contrast: if you want depth in one sport rather than breadth across many, that is the trade.
How these were compared: we reviewed official store listings, developer information, player reviews and genre conventions, and applied the same criteria to every game. We have not independently play-tested every title here.

FAQ
Questions people ask about football stadium games
When can I build football venues?
Straight away. Touchdown Center is the first build goal the game gives you, in Champsford, in the opening week. Football is not gated behind other sports.
Is this a football manager game?
No. Idle Sports Stadium Tycoon is a tycoon game: you own the venues, invest in customers and automate them. There are no lineups, formations, transfers or match tactics. For manager sims, see our best sports management games list.
Is there soccer as well as American football?
Yes, and they are separate venues. Touchdown Center is American football; Soccer League is its own venue with its own costs and its own customers. This page is about the football side.
Can I design the stadium layout myself?
No. Venues are preset builds that grow as you invest rather than a blank plot you lay out tile by tile. What you control is which venue to put money into and how far to push each one.
Does it keep earning while the app is closed?
Yes, once a venue is automated. The AUTOMATE panel asks for a named character at a given level plus cash; after that the venue keeps earning with the app closed and you collect on your return. You play online, with events and leaderboards against other players.
Are there real football teams or players?
No. The venues, characters and story are Kano’s own. There are no licensed teams, leagues or player rosters.
